What you get

Real virtual machines

KVM virtual machines on Proxmox with dedicated memory, not containers sharing a kernel. Run Docker, systemd, your own kernel modules, whatever you like.

Ready in about a minute

Order, pay, and the server is cloned from a clean image, configured and booted automatically. Your login details appear in your account straight away.

Reinstall yourself

Broken something? Pick Debian 13 or Ubuntu 24.04 in your account and the server is rebuilt from scratch with the same address and ports.

Start, stop, reboot

Power controls in your account, including a hard reset for when the OS stops answering. No ticket needed.

Isolated network

Each VPS is firewalled from every other VPS at the hypervisor. Nobody on the same host can see your traffic or reach your private address.

Flat price

The same rule as all our hosting: the price you order at is the price you renew at. Monthly or annual, cancel any time.

VPS questions

How do I connect to my VPS?
Over SSH with the username admin, the password shown in your account and the SSH port listed there. admin can use sudo for root. You can add your own SSH key and disable password login once you are in.
What is a shared IP with a port block?
Every VPS shares our UK IPv4 address and is given its own block of 20 public ports (TCP and UDP). One of them reaches your SSH; the rest reach the same port numbers on your server, so a service listening on port 20105 inside your VPS is reachable on port 20105 from the internet. Web traffic on ports 80 and 443 is not forwarded, which keeps the price low. If you need a dedicated IP, talk to us.
Can I reinstall or change the operating system?
Yes, from your account, at any time. Choose Debian 13 or Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, tick the confirmation box and the server is rebuilt from a clean image in about a minute with a new password.
Can I send email from a VPS?
Outbound port 25 is blocked to protect our IP reputation. Use an SMTP relay such as SMTP2GO, Postmark or your email provider on port 587, which works normally.
Is there a traffic limit?
No metered bandwidth. The servers sit on a fibre connection shared fairly between customers. Sustained saturation that affects other customers will get a polite email first.
What about backups?
The VPS itself is not backed up: it is your server. Pair it with a Storage Box and use borg or restic for nightly off-box backups.
